The Cumbria Counselling Group is Gamcare's partner in Cumbria. Gamcare provides confidential counselling and psychotherapy to anyone experiencing or affected by a gambling problem, and the group is contracted to provide this service throughout the county of Cumbria. The group currently has four members, all experienced psychotherapists who live and work within the county. All are graduates of the Lakeland Institute in Ulverston with diplomas in counselling and psychotherapy. They have a wealth of experience of giving support and therapeutic interventions in different sectors, for instance: Young people with histories of offending and anti-social behaviour. Individuals with drug or alcohol problems. Mediation. Support for voluntary sector workers. Employment Assistance Schemes.
